Digital Advertising Director


My client is one of the largest print and digital media publishers within the U.S. offering a variety of digital marketing and advertising services and solutions. They are seeking to hire an Advertising Director responsible for establishing and maintaining the successful operations of assigned markets. In this role, the Advertising Director will mentor and develop a team and ensure strategic goals of the business are met, promoting growth and increasing revenue.



  • Manage and develop a team, set clear objectives in line with overall business strategies and monitor throughout the performance cycle
  • Hire, motivate and mentor teams to maximize potential through strong leadership
  • Develop and implement a sales business plan and budget aligned with the overall business strategies
  • Continuous product/solutions growth, strengthening existing markets and developing target markets
  • Build value proposition of solutions and products, grow revenue and strengthen market footprint
  • Oversee financial objectives of assigned markets
  • Work closely with the team of Directors and Sales, gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity and ensure a competitive market position is always maintained



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of Management experience within Digital Advertising and/or Marketing industry
  • Experience developing business plans and sales proposals
  • Documented Sales Success of meeting/exceeding revenue goals
  • Knowledge/Understanding of competitors within the industry
  • Understanding of Social Media sites, search engine marketing
  • Exceptional Leadership skills
  • Strong networking/community involvement skills
  • Ability to meet/work under strict deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office



  • Base salary $90,000 - 100,000+ (based on experience)
  • Bonus Potential up to 30%
