Our client is a leading edge robotics company, which designs, manufactures and integrates robotics for medical technology and capital equipment applications for manufacturers in various industrial sectors.
This Private Equity backed company has developed a singular disruptive technology. The company is profitable, well funded, and has an impressive corporate client list. The company designs, develops and manufacture both serially produced and one of a kind robotics for numerous types of applications for the medical technology sector and capital equipment for various industrial sectors. The revenues are showing exceptional year over year growth, and are projected to significantly accelerate with the introduction of a new generation technology they will introduce prior to the end of 2018.

The CFO Role:
The Chief Financial Officer will be in charge of FP&A, corporate financial strategy, asset allocation, risk management, financial controls, cash management and reporting. The CFO will also be an integral part of formulating the company's overall corporate growth strategy, while preparing the company for a liquidity event within a projected 24-month timeline.
The CFO will work closely with the CEO and P.E. leadership, providing the analysis, forecasting, projections and reporting tosupport informed decisions. The CFO we are looking for will have the experience to look behind the numbers and understand the market dynamics driving those numbers. The CFO will not be involved in the day to day accounting, but the CFO will hold ultimate responsibility for the finance department's functions. The CFO will oversee ongoing cost / benefit analysis on R&D, manufacturing, product development, joint ventures and licensing agreements, and provide reports and recommendations to the CEO and P.E executive leadership. The CFO will be the company's primary financial interface with the investment and banking communities. The CFO will work with the CEO and P.E. Leadership on the development and implementation of the company's short and long-term goals, strategies and tactics.
We need a combination hands on operational executive and financial strategist, who enjoys people and working in a cooperative environment with multiple personality types. We need a strong CFO who can work with the CEO to open new markets, grow existing markets, perform accurate strategic financial assessments of proposed projects, and help the company prioritize these projects based on potential short and long-term benefits.
Personality fit will be as important a consideration, in the selection of the CFO, as experience and skill-set. If you do not enjoy working cooperatively with others, or you are an individual that others do not enjoy working with, you are not a match for this position.

Partial List of Requirements:
To be considered for this position candidates should have a minimum of 20 years progressive career experience as a finance executive. The candidate should have relevant sector experience and a minimum of 5-7 years experience as a CFO (or Divisional Finance Lead Role). The candidate should be a seasoned veteran and a combination of hands-on operational CFO and financial strategist, with the experience to assist the CEO in continuing to grow revenues, expand markets and prepare the company for a major liquidity event within the next 24-months.
The CFO should be capable of analyzing and anticipating the impact of regulatory changes, industry trends and market dynamics, and developing successful financial and corporate strategies in response
The ability to produce timely accurate analysis, projections, forecasting, financial modeling and reporting are an absolute necessity.
The CFO must be skilled at Cash Management, financial planning, asset allocation, capital expenditures, risk management and GAAP compliance
Develop the financial strategies that anticipate and meet market dynamics
Recognize and focus on the factors that control cost and increase cash flow
Develop and deploy metrics and KPIs to execute continued improvements
Must be able to work effectively with banks the equity market and outside audit firms
Financial presentations to banks and investors
Familiar with the various forms of raising capital
Partner with senior sales and operations executives to drive improvements and cost reductions
Successfully execute strategic initiatives
Strong written and verbal communicator, able to effectively present to executive team and investors
Experienced in contract negotiations
Experience successfully executing corporate strategies preferably in a high-growth, high-energy environment
Experience and ability to function as a general advisor to the CEO on strategy and corporate affairs
Strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills
Continue to build, manage and allocate a world-class finance team

The compensation package will include a 24-month employment contract, base salary of $350k, equity, generous bonus structure, full benefits package and relocation assistance.
